What recruitment agency/consultant looks in a resume at first go?

Resumes are representations of individuals to organisations wherein an individual wants to build a career. These resumes are the first impression in front of recruiters for every job seeker. Today, much recruitment takes place with the help of recruitment agencies. When job seekers submit their resumes to these agencies, the professionals of these agencies when screening the prospective employees need to make sure that the resumes of these candidates are scrutinised properly.
However, at the first glance, checking a resume thoroughly may not always be possible. Therefore, for job seekers, it is very important for the resumes to have the elements that recruitment agencies look for at the first go.
These elements are:
•    Career continuity that assures the recruiters that the candidate has the determination and potential to stick around for a long time.
•    Clear-to-read list of skills so that the recruiter does not have to scan the resume at the first instance.
•    A clearly written and effective objective statement that enables the recruiters to decide whether or not to read the resume further.
•    The format in which the resume is written to help recruiters know that the candidate understands the importance of this document.
•    The contact information of the candidate specified clearly so that the candidate can be reached easily using different mediums.
•    The outline of career so that the recruiters can get to know of the job experience of the candidate and decide whether or not the candidate is fit for the present post applied for.
•    Educational qualifications to help recruiters know if the candidate has qualifications relevant to the profile.
•    Well-written and grammatically correct resume that helps recruiters to understand whether or not the candidate has an eye for detail.
The resume of the candidate must be consistent in the sense that it must be written in reverse chronological order without any gaps. Moreover, recruiters do not want to read or scan a lot of pages and so the resume must be of an apt length. In addition, the resume must be simple to understand so that the recruiters do not have to read thoroughly in the first instance to know about the candidate.
